Meet Ms. Allison Burns, 7th Grade English Language Arts Teacher at Canal Winchester Middle School. She has worked for the district for eleven years.

Ms. Burns is a graduate of Kent State University. Allison and her husband, Matthew, will celebrate 16 years of marriage this July and are the parents of two children, 9-year-old Caroline and 5-year-old Connor.
"My coworkers are amazing people, but have become more like family," she said. "We laugh together, cry together, and have been able to stay focused on the task at hand the last two years - educating and loving the students of Canal Winchester Local Schools."
Ms. Burns says she enjoys working at Canal Winchester Schools because of the many cultures and backgrounds that make up the district, and the empathy students develop as part of the community!
