On Thursday, May 19, Canal Winchester Middle School staff and their family members cooked dinner for the guests at the Ronald McDonald House at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
The CWMS team volunteers to support these families twice a year by providing a meal for their enjoyment during a difficult time. The staff pitches in to help pay for the meal for 150 guests and then our volunteers make it in the kitchen at RMH and serve the guests.
A Ronald McDonald House provides a place for families to call home so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost. Each year, the Columbus Ronald McDonald House serves more than 4,500 families with 82,000 nights of accommodation. To learn more about RMHC of Columbus, visit their website. Thank you to the CWMS staff for supporting this important cause!
