Meet Ms. Maleea Anderson, Preschool Coordinator and Assistant Principal at Winchester Trail Elementary! She has worked at Canal Winchester Schools for 25 years.
Ms. Anderson says she enjoys building relationships with preschool families in her role.
"We are often times the first to meet with our families as students begin their early childhood experience," she said. "It is critical to set all students up for success and this begins with building positive relationships with their families."
Maleea is married to her high school sweetheart and they recently celebrated their 26th anniversary. They have three children - Tyler and Nicholas, both CWHS grads, and Emalee, a 7th grader at CWMS. Outside of school, she likes to spend her time reading for enjoyment and professional development, as well as supporting her children in their everyday adventures, including competitive motocross racing with all three of her kids and club volleyball with Emalee.
"In life, we are given many opportunities to field our dreams and I am thankful for the many blessings I have been given when I started my career in CW 25 years ago, as well as my family's support to continue my educational journey with my work family," said Ms. Anderson.
She says she enjoys working at CW Schools because of the close-knit community.
"While Canal Winchester continues to grow, our school community still gives us that small, hometown feeling," she said. "Our staff members and leaders continue to support one another as if we are one big family."
