New School Hours Begin March 7th, 2022

CW Families,
When the district made the decision to change school times for more efficient busing, we stated we would continue to monitor the situation. Unfortunately, we have continued to experience staffing and routing issues which has resulted in more adjustments. To ensure students get to school for in-person learning and to reduce or prevent late busses, we are revising the building times for each school. At the February 14 Board meeting, I am going to recommend a 4-tier bus system which means each building will start and end at its own time (see new schedule below). This will also get us closer to a regular school day in regards to school hours. While we understand changes are inconvenient, we know the importance of keeping students learning in the classroom. The elementary schools will continue to offer before and after school support for families.
The revision includes putting all buildings on a different time schedule. This will create new bus routes for all students, much like the beginning of a school year. On Monday, March 7th these new building times and bus routes will BEGIN.
To find your new bus information (number, time, location), please visit your PowerSchool account any time after February 28th and click on TRANSPORTATION (school bus icon).
