Izzy Jackson had the opportunity to apply for the girls junior high state wrestling tournament.  She was chosen and wrestled at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, OH.  She beat all five girls in her weight class to win the State Championship.  She is the first ever Canal Winchester wrestling state champion boy or girl, high school or middle school.  

"Her future is very bright.  Izzy has wrestled the last couple of years and has also played football.  She is a fantastic student, athlete and person.  She plays in the band and is very successful in the classroom as well." said Mr. Cassady, wrestling coach and teacher.
