Welcome to the Teaching and Learning Department of Canal Winchester Schools, where our mission is to empower all students for success. With a strong commitment to excellence in education, our department oversees a wide range of essential responsibilities to ensure a thriving learning environment.

As a vital part of our educational community, the Teaching and Learning Department takes charge of various crucial aspects. We oversee professional development, testing coordination, services for gifted and English language learning students, curriculum development, career tech, college credit plus courses, and leadership and equity initiatives.

At the Teaching and Learning Department, we wholeheartedly believe in the power of education to transform lives. Through our dedication and collaboration with educators, students, and the community, we are driven to create a positive and impactful learning experience for every individual. We are committed to staying at the forefront of educational research and best practices, ensuring that our teaching methods and strategies are continually evolving to meet the changing needs of our diverse student body. By fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, we aim to equip our students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed academically and thrive as responsible and engaged citizens.

Together, we can pave the way for a brighter future and empower our students to achieve their full potential.
