Dear Canal Winchester Schools Community,

As we settle into the 2024-2025 school year, I want to take a moment to highlight some of the exciting things happening at Canal Winchester Schools this year. The energy and enthusiasm throughout our schools have been remarkable, and it's clear that we’re off to a fantastic start.

This year, our theme is “Swing for the Fences,” and that’s exactly what we’re doing. We’ve opened the doors to a beautiful new addition at Indian Trail Elementary, allowing us to provide all-day kindergarten for every student for the first time. This milestone represents our commitment to giving each child the best possible start on their educational journey.

In addition, we’re thrilled to be offering free breakfast and lunch to all students through the Community Eligibility Program. Ensuring that every child has access to nutritious meals means that our students can focus fully on their learning and growth without the worry of hunger.

Over the summer, we also introduced our second strategic plan, the Canal Winchester Promise for 2024-2027. This three-year plan continues our dedication to creating engaging learning environments, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity, and ensuring every student is prepared for the future. Together, we’ll strive to reach new heights, supporting one another every step of the way.

As we move forward this school year, let’s all swing for the fences – setting ambitious goals, working hard, and cheering each other on. I’m excited about the great things we will achieve together!
