The Canal Winchester Schools Food Service Department offers PaySchools, a safe and simple way for families to add money to their child's lunch account and pay school fees using a debit or credit card. With PaySchools, you can easily keep an eye on your student's lunch account and add funds whenever required. However, please note that there is a convenience fee for PaySchools transactions.

If you prefer to pay with cash or check, that's totally fine! Just make the check payable to Canal Winchester Schools and include your student's ID number in the memo line. Remember, when sending cash or check with your child, ask them to hand it over to our Food Service staff at the register, as teachers and office staff are unable to accept food service payments. 

Creating a New Account

You can quickly set up your PaySchools account with an email address and your student’s ID Number. If you don't know your student's ID number, start by asking them - they use this number in the cafeteria at school. If your student doesn't know their ID number, contact the school office for assistance.

After you have set up an account on PaySchools:

  • Add money to your student’s lunch account
    • It can take up to 2 business days for funds to apply to your student's account. Plan ahead to make sure they have money available on their account when they are purchasing meals at school.
  • Pay school fees
  • Set up ‘low balance’ emails to ensure your student has money for lunch.


Meal Prices

Meal prices for the 2023-2024 school year will be:

  • Elementary Lunch: $2.75
  • Middle School Lunch: $3.25
  • High School Lunch: $3.25
  • Breakfast: $1.75
  • Milk only: $0.50
