Portrait of a Graduate

The Canal Winchester Portrait of a Graduate is a shared vision of the skills, mindsets, and competencies a student will develop during their K-12 education that will prepare them for success in the future. The process to develop the CW Portrait of a Graduate included families, students, community members, teachers, staff, and district leadership.

The Canal Winchester Schools Portrait of a Graduate committee identified six competencies that students would develop during their education in the district:

• Collaborators 
• Communicators 
• Self-Aware Individuals 
• Problems Solvers
