Internships aren’t just great for students - the businesses who host them benefit, too!
CW Schools Career Coordinator Jasmine Stephenson visited the Cisco Academy classroom to explain to juniors and seniors what activities are considered work-based learning. She also explained how to use SchoolLinks to track their work-based learning hours and find internship opportunities.
Did you know businesses can be reimbursed up to $5,000 per intern when they hire high school students in tech-related roles? Businesses also will be eligible to earn bonuses for each student that earns a credential.
