as open enrollment is limited to up to 100 spots each year.
Open Enrollment applications are only accepted during the month of May for the coming school year. The Open Enrollment application will be added to the Student Registration and Open Enrollment pages on May 1, 2022 through May 31, 2022.
The Canal Winchester School District will review all Open Enrollment Applications received in the month of May.
Each applicant will receive a letter in the mail by the date of July 31st , stating whether the student has been accepted or has not been accepted into the Canal Winchester School District under open enrollment. You will receive a mailed letter of notification either way.
Please do not contact the district office for information regarding the student’s status.
Applicants for Open Enrollment shall be considered using the admission priorities listed in the district policy and not on a first-come-first-served basis. There will be no waiting list.
Your signature on the open enrollment application indicates you have read the open enrollment policy and are aware that you are responsible for transportation to and from school each school day.
