Dear ITES Families,
Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! Summer has come and gone again, and I hope all of you had a relaxing and enjoyable summer break. For those families that are new to the Canal Winchester School District and Indian Trail Elementary, I would like to welcome you to our fantastic school district and look forward to meeting you in the near future!
Mrs. Cobb and I are excited to begin our fifth year as the administrators of Indian Trail Elementary. We, along with the amazing staff at Indian Trail, look forward continuing to build those positive relationships that are vital to student success, growth, and achievement. At Indian Trail, we pride ourselves on connecting with, and getting to know, the students on a personal level. This enables each staff member to personalize the students' learning and meet the educational needs of each student. We know this year will look different due to the challenges with COVID-19, but we will do our best to meet your student’s needs in the building or at home. We believe that a strong relationship, built on trust between student and teacher, can lead to significant student learning!
We continue to be committed to the Mission Statement of "Empowering All Students for Success". Even during these challenging and unprecedented times, the staff at Indian Trail Elementary will work tirelessly to provide the best educational experience, whether students are learning remotely, or in a classroom.
As we strive for success, our staff will be implementing the pillars of the Portrait of a Graduate to guide our way. The pillars of the Portrait of a Graduate consist of: Respectful Citizens, Responsible Learners, Self-Aware Individuals, Problem Solvers, Communicators, and Collaborators.
I am very excited for another fantastic school year at Indian Trail Elementary, and look forward to partnering with you during your child's educational journey.
