Should I Send My Student to School?

CHECK HERE for a QUICK GUIDE on sending your student to school
While we understand that the symptoms of a COVID-19 infection are similar to those of other conditions, our staff must follow the guidelines in which to send a child home for potential COVID-19 symptoms. If you take your child to a clinic to be evaluated, and that doctor determines your child’s condition is due to something other than COVID-19, you may submit an official alternative diagnosis. For example if a child is sent home for a runny nose, a note from a physician (rather than a test) can be provided explaining why the child has a runny nose (example, allergies.)
If a doctor provides you with an alternative diagnosis for your child’s condition, please provide the following information to your school clinic:
  1. Your child’s name
  2. The condition causing the symptoms
  3. How long the symptoms can be expected to continue
  4. The date of the examination.
  5. Signature of doctor
Clear documentation is needed from a physician that your student has symptoms not related to COVID-19.  Please help us to keep your child in school, and at the same time helping us keep everyone in our school community safe.
Thank you,
Mike Bruning, Director of Operations

Follow A/B Schedules if District is in Hybrid Level

Groups A and B will be divided alphabetically by last name (A-K for Group A and L-Z for Group B) so families with children in multiple schools are in school on the same days. Families with multiple last names will default to the oldest CW student in the household’s last name. There may be exceptions, for example special education and English Language Learners.    A and B Calendars are located to the right please follow.
